Educate

The Task Force provides training and education to organizations, law enforcement agencies, and community members across Westchester County. These efforts are designed to increase awareness, strengthen identification, and enhance community capacity to recognize, report, and prevent all forms of human trafficking.

Trainings are tailored to the needs of professionals and community partners who may encounter trafficking in their work or daily lives.

Collaborate

The Westchester County Anti-Trafficking Task Force functions as a systemic collaboration between service providers, law enforcement, prosecutors, and government agencies. By working together across disciplines, partners coordinate efforts toward the shared goal of preventing and combating human trafficking throughout the county.

This collaborative approach ensures more effective communication, stronger referrals, and improved outcomes for survivors.

Investigate

The Task Force supports proactive investigations of human trafficking crimes within Westchester County. Investigations are conducted in coordination with local, state, regional, and federal law enforcement and regulatory agencies to ensure a comprehensive and victim-centered response.

Prosecute

The Task Force promotes a swift and coordinated criminal justice response to human trafficking. This includes supporting the prosecution of trafficking crimes while ensuring that the rights of trafficking victims under New York State and federal law are protected.

Accountability for traffickers is pursued alongside survivor safety and dignity.

Support

The Task Force works to build and strengthen a comprehensive network of high-quality services for survivors of all forms of human trafficking. Survivors are connected to a broad range of restorative, trauma-informed services designed to meet each individual’s unique needs and support long-term stability and recovery.
